March 2020 Update for the Fast-Weigh Desktop Ticketing App

Update Notes

This week, we are rolling out version 2.2.21.0 of the Fast-Weigh Desktop Ticketing application. This update comes with a host of enhancements and new features. Read on for details.

Desktop Ticketing App Update

1. NEW - Scale Stability Setting

We've added a new setting that prevents Fast-Weigh from creating a ticket until the scale weight has stopped fluctuating.
Note: The user must enter Debug Mode to turn this setting on. Please contact our support team if you would like to enable Scale Stability.

2. NEW - Product Specifications

Our new Product Specifications feature allows you to keep records on product mixing, additives, testing results, and product sources.

Product specification testing records can then be printed on a scale ticket.

3. NEW - Set custom Start Time for Loads Today and Units Today

From the ticketing screen, double-click on Loads Today or Units Today at the bottom left corner of the app to set a custom start time.

4. NEW - Set custom Ticket Date

From the ticketing screen, double-click on the Ticket Date at the bottom left corner of the app to set a custom date for your next ticket.

5. NEW - Haulers and Trucks with Dispatch list

We've added new Haulers and Trucks with Dispatch lists to the drop-down menu on the Ticketing Screen. This will display any Haulers or Trucks with active dispatches.

6. NEW - "Always Save Gross and Tare" setting

If enabled, when ticketing for Products with units of measure other than "ton," the gross and tare weights will still be saved to the database. For example, even if the unit of measure is Loads, the gross and tare weights will still be stored with the ticket.

  • Enable this by going to Settings >> Ticket
7. Orders screen updates

We've added two additional features to the Orders screen

  • NEW - Open Order field
    You now have the option to establish an order as "open" from the Order Setup screen on the Desktop Ticketing app.
  • NEW - Order UDFs
    Order User-Defined Fields (UDFs) have been added to Order Setup

8. NEW - Save Operator Info

Operator names can now be saved and stored in an Operator drop-down list.


Other Updates
  • Addressed error prompt issue when taring from the ticketing screen
  • Updated cash sale rounding on multi-product tickets
  • Addressed issue where unit of measure was not displaying correctly on cash sales when ticketing for units other than tons
  • Addressed Order/Product issues on Ticket History screen
  • Updated Operator Signature to support external signature pads
  • Updates to UDF text fields to prevent extra spaces
