At Fast-Weigh, we’re always working to make material ticketing and order management smarter, faster, and easier. We’ve been listening closely to your feedback and wanted to share some of the key projects we’re working on across the platform. From simplifying address management to laying the foundation for a better dispatching experience, here’s a look at what’s on the way.
Right now, address data can live in multiple places across Orders, Requests, and Ship-To records, which can sometimes cause confusion or inconsistencies. We’re changing that.
Soon, all address data will be managed through the Ship-To module, making it the single source of truth for every location. Ship-To addresses will automatically flow from Customer to Order to Request to Ticket, reducing manual entry and improving data accuracy. This sets the stage for better logistics and reporting tools down the road.
Previously, pending tickets could only be created from the point-of-sale app. That worked well for truck-in-yard workflows, but it didn’t cover every need.
We’re expanding Pending Ticket Records to support things like multi-load scheduling, PO fulfillment tracking, and dispatch planning. This new functionality lays the groundwork for a more complete dispatching and optimization suite, giving you more control when planning, assigning, and executing hauls.
Our web portal and point-of-sale applications have been solid, but we know they could work together better. We’re combining the best parts of both into one streamlined interface.
You’ll still be able to work offline, use your local devices (scales, printers, cameras, and more), and run transactions the way you always have. The difference is that everything will now happen in a consistent, unified environment, whether you’re in the office, at the scale house, or working remotely.
Fast-Weigh kiosks have quickly become one of our most popular tools, handling check-in, check-out, and soon, proof-of-delivery. But many of you have asked for more flexibility.
We’re working on giving you full control over kiosk workflows. Whether you want to auto-assign orders for a fast lane or limit driver input to just a PO number, you’ll be able to customize the experience to fit your yard. It’s all about helping you move trucks faster, reduce mistakes, and keep your operations running smoothly.
These updates are just a snapshot of what’s ahead. We believe your software should fit the way you work, not the other way around. With each new release, we’re aiming to make Fast-Weigh more powerful, more flexible, and easier for your whole team to use.
Thanks for building with us. More to come soon.
