June 2023 Fast-Weigh Update

Update Notes

This update will apply to the Fast-Weigh Web Portal overnight. Desktop and Mobile ticketing application updates will be gradually rolled out this week. Changes in this update will be available on:

  • Desktop Scale Ticketing App version 4.2.0 or greater
  • Mobile Ticketing App version 4.2.0 or greater

NEW: Changes to PO Numbers

The Fast-Weigh development team is transitioning the current PO Number field to a new, more flexible PO Number system designed accommodate more ticketing scenarios. When editing an Order on the Web Portal or Desktop Scale Application, you'll see two new fields: Default PO Number and Ticket PO Rule. Once you've established the Default PO Number, you can then apply a rule governing the way PO numbers will be added to new tickets created for the order.

Ticket PO Rule Options:
  • Default Only: All new tickets will use the Default PO Number you've established on the order. When running a ricket on Desktop or Mobile Ticketing applications, the default number will automatically appear in Order Info box and cannot be edited while ticketing.
  • Optional: The operator can enter any PO Number while creating a ticket. If a Default PO was entered on the order, it will initially appear in the PO Number fiend on the ticketing screen, but can be changed. If no Default PO was established on the order, the box will be blank.
  • Required: The rule requires the operator to have the PO number field filled when running a ticket. The number can be changed to if need be, but it cannot be left blank.

Additionally, PO numbers can now be changed when editing tickets on the Fast-Weigh Web Portal.
