Update Notes

This evening, we're releasing a software update for the Fast-Weigh Web Portal. No need to trigger the Web Portal update -- it will do so automatically.

An update to the Fast-Weigh Desktop Ticketing Application will be rolled out over the next few weeks. If you need assistance with updating your Fast-Weigh Desktop Ticketing App for Windows 10, click here for instructions, or reach out to our Support team.

Overall Performance Enhancements

Along with a number of new features, we've applied a powerful performance update, which will significantly increase app sync and page loading speeds across much of the Fast-Weigh suite. Read on for more update details.

Fast-Weigh Web Portal: Update Details

   
Web Portal Performance Update
  • Updated Requests, Orders, Quotes, and Trucks to use server-side processing, which dramatically improves overall performance and page loads
Delivery Query
  • The POD Query has been renamed to Delivery Query
  • Added "POD Orders Only" checkbox to the Delivery Query. If left unchecked, the query can be expanded to non-POD orders, supporting the Inspector role

Ticket Query

  • Ticket Number can now be changed when editing a ticket. Note: This must be done prior to invoicing.
Billing
  • Removing a ticket from an invoice now creates a Revision Note for that ticket
  • Added AP Cost Center to Regions, Locations, and Yard under Resources >> Locations
Scheduled Reports
  • NEW Run Now button - Users can now run any Scheduled Report on demand.
Requests
  • Request Time column added to the Requests grid
Portal Settings
  • NEW Custom Invoice Breaks - Users can now create their own custom Invoice Break in Portal Settings. NOTE: Customer should always come first in the series.

Other Updates
  • Opening any map on the Web Portal will now default the map location to the user's current location (requires browser location permissions)
  • Fixed error message when trying to credit a Quickbooks Online invoice
  • Fixed issue with Spectrum credit memos
  • Updated Request Notes to eliminate errors
  • Fixed intermittent error on the Order Setup screen when searching for a Customer
  • Updated Quote Awarding system to eliminate errors
  • Adding Customers from a third party system will no longer overwrite current customers of the same name

The following will be rolled out over the next few weeks.

    
Desktop Ticketing App Performance Update

New updates to the sync function will increase sync speeds by 50-100%. We've also improved performance and page loads for the app as a whole, including Web Portal access, Reporting, Image Capture, Settings screen tabs, and more.

Other Updates
  • NEW Lock Reprints setting - On the Settings screen, reprinting tickets can now be locked for Unattended Kiosk users
  • Updated Unattended Kiosk Mode - Load Default Quantity (established during Order setup) now updates properly when using non-weight-based products. Resolved error when using manual weights as well.
  • Ticketing Location Profiles - Location Settings are now preserved properly when app is closed and restarted
  • Fixed issue with changing tabs on the Product Specification screen
  • Updated Ticketing screen to resolve error when selecting from the "Trucks with Request" list
  • Resolved issues with ticketing on Inbound Orders
